How booking works

From first message to last call

No surprises. Everything is agreed in writing before your date is reserved.

  1. Tell me about it

Send your date, venue, guest count and the vibe you want: tiki, margaritas or both.

  2. Get a written quote

Package, add-ons and total, valid for 7 days.

  3. Reserve with 50%

Pay the retainer by card or bank transfer through a secure Stripe link. Your date is held once it's paid.

  4. Party

Your final details and the balance are due 7 days before your event. Then I show up, set up and pour.

Policies

The fine print, in plain English

Please read these before booking. They're also included with every written quote.

Alcohol policy (dry hire)

I provide bartending and bar-service support for host-supplied alcohol. I do not sell alcohol or individual drinks. Cash-bar, ticketed, venue-based or alcohol-supply arrangements must be reviewed before booking and may require appropriate venue or ABC-permit coverage. I may refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or underage.

Payments

  • A 50% retainer reserves your date.
  • The remaining balance, plus any mixer ingredients at cost, is due 7 days before the event. For bookings made less than 7 days out, payment in full is due at booking.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe (card or U.S. bank transfer).

Cancellation & refund policy

  • Retainer: nonrefundable, because it holds a date I turn other work away for.
  • Client cancels 8 or more days before the event: any payment beyond the retainer is refunded in full.
  • Client cancels within 7 days of the event: the balance is nonrefundable. Ingredients already bought are billed at cost.
  • Reschedule: move your date once, within 6 months, at no charge, subject to availability.
  • If I have to cancel: you get a 100% refund of everything paid.
  • Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Service & safety

  • Final guest count, venue address, bar location, service hours, alcohol list and menu are due 7 days before the event.
  • The host provides alcohol, ice, cups or glassware, and a table or bar surface unless agreed otherwise. On base packages the host also provides mixers, juice and garnish.
  • Nut allergies: orgeat contains almonds and is clearly labeled at the bar.
  • Some venues have rules about outside vendors or homemade items. I'll confirm with yours before the event.

Questions

Good to know

Do you bring the alcohol?

No. You buy the alcohol, and on the base packages the mixers, juice and garnish too. I send a shopping list so you buy exactly what you need. Add Tiki Night, Margarita Bar or the Scratch Mixer Package and I make the mixers and prep the citrus and garnish myself.

Can we have tiki and margaritas?

Absolutely. Many parties do one signature tiki drink and one margarita. The easiest way is one themed bar plus a signature drink from the other through the Custom Cocktail Menu. Full tiki and margarita bars at one event are quoted.

How many guests can one bartender handle?

Up to about 50 guests comfortably for cocktails. For 75 or more, or when every drink is made to order, I'll recommend a second bartender.

How far ahead should I book?

Two to four weeks is ideal. November and December weekends fill first, so book early for holiday parties.

What areas do you serve?

Charlotte and a 15-mile radius are included. Farther events are quoted with a flat travel fee.
